Computer Evolution and Performance
ENIAC
- ENIAC: Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer.
- Designed by: Eckert and Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Electronic digital computer to the needs of the public first in the world.
- Institutions created under the Army's Ballistics Research Laboratory (BRL).
- A body that is responsible in making the distance and trajectory guided missile table.
- Previous work has been carried out by approximately 200 personnel to use a calculator to solve mathematical equation guided missile that takes a long time.
- Began in 1943 and finished 1946.
- Too late for the war effort.
- Used until 1955.
