  • The number of components on a chip increases.
  • Gordon Moore - the founder of Intel.
  • The number of transistor in a chip twice each year.
  • Since 1970 progress rather slowly.
  • Number of transistor into 2 times every 18 months.

Moore's Law (2)
  • Price from chip average still not changed.
  • Higher density means packing more electronic point short, the capacity will increase.
  • Increase the size of the decline flesibilitas.
  • Reduce power and cooling needs.
  • Some Interconnection improve reliability.
